St. Charles History Museum Temporary Exhibit

To honor teachers within St. Charles who had been doing their work through tumultuous times, the St. Charles History Museum produced an exhibit featuring the history of St. Charles schools. As someone who attended a handful of the schools featured, I was ecstatic to learn both about the schools I attended, and to produce an exhibit that could allow visitors to connect with the historic individuals who made the schools they are today.

The intro panel, with a collection of historic photos of classes throughout the history of the school district.
First side of the educator's panels, featuring Charles Haines, Amelia Anderson, and Helen and Mae Munhall. The size was created to further allow visitors to connect with these historic figures.
The second side of the educator's panels, featuring John Wredling, George Thompson, and Alice Davis. My personal favorites are Thompson and Davis, as I attended the schools named in their honor!
The beginning section of the timeline, featuring artifacts that correlate with important dates noted.
The central area of the exhibit, with panels that further describe the development and history of the local schools.
The one-room schoolhouse section, that served to orient the visitor on the humble beginnings of the district's schools.
